How It Works
We connect districts with families who want to study from home and still take part in local school events and activities. The hybrid learning program was created for these families. Students remain fully enrolled in your district, earn your district’s diploma, and can optionally join in-person sports, band, theater, and clubs.
Acellus Gold delivers personalized, self-paced courses with adaptive support that finds and fills learning gaps in real time.
Acellus CyberSchool is already established and in operation. By joining the districts already in this national initiative, you’re up and running as a virtual school almost overnight. Most importantly, the Acellus CyberSchool team provides training for your teaching staff and support for your school.
Acellus courseware is approved and certified by Quality Matters, and has met University of California A–G college-preparatory standards since 2015. AP courses can be added to your College Board ledger, and core courses are available for NCAA recognition.
For Your Teachers
The platform handles the busywork and surfaces what each student needs next, so teachers spend their time on the students who need them most.
A single press brings the whole class into a live video lesson. From there, teachers can play a video, work through a worksheet, take raised hands, and run quick polls to find out whether a concept has really landed.
The Gold Standard
Acellus Gold adapts instruction to each student and rewards progress along the way. As students move through their courses, they earn Gold Learning Credits for completed work, making the value of learning visible, then redeemable in the Acellus Gold Store.

Acellus courses run from preschool through 12th grade, and families who want it can also choose courses taught from a traditional American-values perspective. Parents get a meaningful voice in their child’s education, while teachers keep full visibility and professional oversight, so every student stays on track for graduation and meets all state standards.

Results
In rural California, the Acton-Agua Dulce Unified School District launched a hybrid learning program powered by Acellus. In its first year, the program enrolled 180 students.

Lansing USD 469 uses Kansas Heartland Virtual Academy, built on Acellus CyberSchool, to let students learn at home while staying enrolled in the district.
Startup Grant
Startup grant funds are available to help a limited number of districts launch the program.
Because participating students remain on your rolls, they continue to count toward enrollment and ADA funding under your state’s rules.
